I think we are all sent here with a mission of sorts (invent something/be a teacher to someone/develop a quality etc.), but it’s really up to us to achieve that goal or not. 

Imagine it like this: you are in a room and you are told to make a table. You have all of the necessary tools and materials, like wood, hammer and nails and even the instruction manual, given to you. But you always have a choice. You can either make the table, or sit there doing nothing, make origami out of the instruction manual, or leave the room. 

But in my understanding of the situation, once you exit the room — you will walk back into the same exact room and with the same set of choices.
